Maryn's Release Oil (CRO) is a clear, green, odorless and safe to handle fluid that is virtually non-toxic. It is specifically designed to provide a stain-free firm for quick release of set concrete and asphalt from metal forms. Not suited for use with concrete forms.
CRO is ideally suited for pre-spraying of haul trucks, particularly for asphalt, sand, gravel, clay, loam, peat moss and other aggregates. It's base is resistant to oxidation and will help provide corrosion protection for components operating in a contaminated environment. CRO is an exceptionally pure fluid with a similar chemistry to synthetic polyalpha-olefin (PAO) base oils.
Our asphalt truck drivers have been very impressed with the MARYN CRO Release Oil and do not want to go back to using diesel fuel as a release agent. The drivers spray their boxes once every 3 to 4 loads and the pins for the end gate every 2 loads. We definitely feel that we are benefiting by reducing our down time due to sprayer hoses failing or breaking and eliminating the hazards of contact with diesel fuel.
